Music Travel Repeat → Backseat Benedictions: Music For A Road Trip
To everyone who climbed into the backseat with me this year — thank you.
I hope your holidays gave you exactly what you needed.
However you spent it, I hope you felt permission to pause. To breathe. To just be human for a minute.
This year of Backseat Benedictions was a wild, honest, deeply meaningful ride.
Thousands of you didn’t just read along — you showed up.
You brought your own stories, losses, hopes, and half-healed memories into the backseat and trusted the music to help carry them.
That still humbles me.
These playlists weren’t background noise.
They were companions for long drives, late nights, and moments when words failed but songs didn’t.
And together, we did something I’m incredibly proud of.
In 2025, we gave away over $50,000 worth of free concert tickets.
Not contests buried in fine print.
Not hoops, hacks, or hidden rules.
Just real tickets → to real shows → for real people who love live music.
We did it because:
Watching you win tickets…
That’s been one of the most beautiful parts of this entire journey.
The next volume of Backseat Benedictions drops January 2nd.
Same heart.
Same honesty.
A brand-new stretch of road.
While you’re waiting, I’d love for you to explore something else we’ve been building with the same care and respect for live music:
It’s a growing directory of over 7,000 live music venues across the United States — built to help you:
Because music doesn’t start with algorithms or ticket brokers.
It starts with a room.

As we head into the new year, I hope yours is:
and filled with music that meets you right where you are
Thank you for riding with me.
Thank you for trusting this space.
Thank you for believing that music still counts.
Here’s to another year of long drives, loud nights, and songs that stay with us.
Catch you in the chaos,
Haha Bailey
P.S.
Lauren from Troy, New York was our most recent ticket winner and is heading to see Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October at Troy Music Hall.
Keep the pit loud and loving, Lauren.
More free tickets drop January 2nd. See you then.
